Easy presents to make.
Cut small blocks of wood in assorted sizes,Then using tiny patterned paper or shiny sweet wrappers put double sided tape onto paper then cut to size to fit block parcels.Peel off other side of tape and fold neatly round parcel.
Add ribbon around parcel and glue tie a separate bow and glue over the joined ribbon.

We need to start making Christmas Stock early in the shop,This week I will be Decorating Christmas trees,You can Buy Trees decorated or undecorated for you to add your own bits and bobs,Use ribbons tied into bows, sequins,beads,glitter and any
small broken jewellery,Make small presents for around and on the tree.There are lit Christmas trees with clear light or multi coloured lights .

Corn dollies for sale in the shop,these beautifully handmade corn dollies are a must for farm houses.They were traditionally made from the last wheat standing in the field as  a pagan offering to ensure a good harvest the next year .They became a fertility symbol and any wife hoping to get with child would have had one to help with the process.

You can commision a dolls house to be made to your requirments.You could have your actual house made in miniature or just a house in the style you prefer.These will vary in cost so you need to contact Linda at the shop with some idea of size with a drawing or photo.

We have five styles of miniature fairies for sale in the shop. The smallest fairy is one and a half cm high  and can be used on  the top  of  miniature  Christmas  trees. Feather skirted fairy’s that float in the breeze with bendy arms and legs so they can be posed. Porcelain dollhouse fairy’s and Le-Toy Van children’s toy fairy’s with detachable wings can be used in dollshouses. We also stock dolls-houses and furniture suitable for adults and children’s, perfect for a fairy’s home.

The carefully preserved farm buildings at Blake House Craft Centre are centered around a courtyard, which was previously the Blake House Farmyard. Wander around the fine variety of art & craft shops in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, where there really is something for everyone!
